Mr. Adam received his degree in electrical engineering from the University of Sherbrooke in 1992. He has occupied the position of General Manager of the Innovative Vehicle Institute since 2015 and has been a member of the Board of the InnovÉÉ sector-specific industrial research cluster since its creation in 2012.
Mr. Adam was the Director of ITAQ from 2012 until 2015, when he founded IVI by merging ITAQ with the Centre National du Transport Avancé. He accepted the 2016 Innovation Engineering Prize awarded by the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec on behalf of the IVI team for their work in developing the “eLion” electric school bus. Over the course of his career, he has been responsible for numerous developments in the domain of transport electrification, including 5 electric vehicle prototypes.
